Audience Portfolio

These people are our target audience, these are teenagers known as the "young trendies". These people enjoy a laugh and live life in the fast lane with a fun motto. Most of them are studying either at university or just entered the world of work at G322 meaning working class represented on the board as a D. Our main target audience are those who enjoy having a laugh with there mates and go on night outs.

Audience Portfolio

We researched the average comedy viewing age and discovered it was between 14-25 years. Despite this discovery, we have decided that it would be better to have a range of 16-25 years to allow adult content.
As our audience are at this age, their habits consist of: Going out to parties and the cinema with friends or family, social networking, studying and completing any work, enjoying alcohol being part of the student life.

The interests of our audience includes: playing computer or other digital games, this links in with the income of the audience, watching interesting films/movies related to our genre which is comedy , listening to specific music of their taste. Both of these interests will help us to understand our audience and produce the task correctly and is including in our clip, "Like Bernie".

Music [average]: Our audience focuses on any type of the music depending on their tastes. There are a variety of music genres that they like to listen to e.g. Hip-Hop, RnB, Soul, 90's and many more.

Social Background: Our audience come under D social grade. Their social status is working class or unemployment, as they are students, some of them do not work and some of them work earning lowest wages.

Income: For our audience this comes under students that might study at university and might have a job that its wages do not go over £21,000 a year. However they could also include students that do not go to school but may have a job which gives them little income for their needs.

Concept of Final Production

Our movie concept is about a interaction between two friends on a day to day basis. Our 2 minute clip is the introduction to the best mates doing what they do best, hanging out with each other as they are also "young trendies".
The first opening introduces a fat male character flushing the toilet being lazy showing a in sight to fat peoples lives. This stereo typical structure is used because our audience can relate to the victim as he is a similar age and we all have lazy days; possibly encouraging them to 'side' with him. His youth can be interpreted as easily becoming overpowered and generally vulnerable, especially as he is a young person home alone with his mates;
His friend is roughly the same age, tall, black, fully clothed in black, wearing a black hoodie, using a control pad showing the audience what he is up to.
As he is fully clothed in black, it conjures the idea that he can blend into the shadows, implying to the audience that he could be lurking anywhere or a boring individual.

Concept

We, Super Dench Productions are going to be creating and shooting a comedy film, we are going to be aiming our film at young adults (16-25), we are going through extensive research into the location of our film, this also applies for the scene in which we are holding our auditions.

The concept for our piece is about two friends living together, they both have a low IQ and this is told in a narration we will do, and together they act stupidly and get up to many different shenanigans making fun out of the situations they are in a over-exaggerated form.
