We did a few film intros and looked over them, we did comedies considering as that is our genre. our first one was jack and jill.

Jack and Jill intro.
After the company and producers intros with the corresponding music, the screen fades out, then fades back in to a mid shot of a pair of female attractive twins breaking the fourth wall and talking directly into the camera as if they’re being interviewed and asked questions, after some bickering, the screen transitions into a pair of your average Hollywood style looking twins, then a pair of overweight, this all shows the audience a diversity in twins, after a few more twins are interviewed  there’s an “old video” grainy effect, of two children who are twins, this implies to the audience that the footage of the children is rather old, throughout this scene some non-diagetic music plays.
The footage continues in this “old” grainy effect, showing the children growing up, this shows the audience that the children have aged and are now adults, finally it fades to black and the movie begins.

The filming & editing

Today we finished our filming, we used two actors which we hosted auditions for, and chose the perfect two for the roles. Upon filming we had no troubles, the actors were reliable, on time and followed instructions clearly and with no hassle, we also began our editing, adding our company logo, and transitions.

Super Dench Movie Clip Story Board

This is our product story board which will be used to direct what options we take for our 2minutes clip this was made by me as this was one of my roles and responsibilities.

Auditions

We viewed the task at hand, and from that decided to do some research on our target audience, we did class, age and gender research for our audience.

The outcome was that we was to have a mixed-gender of audience, as to keep it universal and entertaining for both genders, for age,we decided to have a fairly young audience around 16-20, to aim it at today's youth, finally we did some class research, finding out that our best class is to aim our piece at a working class, as it is a popular class of today, and easy to aim at.

Preliminary Task Video

INT. CLASSROOM, SCHOOL – MIDDAY

Person 1 walks into the classroom. Person 2 is sitting down. Person 1 sits down opposite Person 2.

Person 1
Alright?

Person2
Oh my God! (Shows shocked expression) Have you seen the new Harry Potter movie?

Person 1
Nah. (Nods head) Come watch it with me tonight.

Person 2
Well I’ve seen it before…but I don’t mind watching it again. Meet you at six?
My Personal Television Interaction

I watch television on a regular basis at last half an hour each day this is because of my favourite TV drama called Eastenders.Overall by the end of the week i watch 14 plus hours of television per week. I have freeview up stairs in my room and my parents have satellite downstairs i sometimes use there satelite and hopefully in the near future i can get sky as most of the inreresting programmes are on thereI have television in my bedroom.there are two set televisions in my house hould. My favourite telvevision programmes are Eastenders, Worlds strictest parents, Goks fashion fix,Hollyoaks and many more that appear on the weekend.
Camera Angles

Angles can influence the audience and tell them more about a story or the characters. I have Studied the different angles types below.

A normal camera angle is aimed at eye level and suggests the subject is on our level and equal to us.

A high angle shot is where the camera is aimed above the subject and can help make it look and feel small, unimportant, afraid or vulnerable.

A low angle shot is where the camera is below the subject and can help make it seem tall, powerful, important or frightening.

A distorted angle may be used to make a scene more frightening, or to make the viewer feel anxious, or queasy (especially if fast or jerky camera movement is also used).

Camera Movements

Pan is short for panorama. Holding the camera in one place you rotate the camera to capture a shot that reveals a large view. This type of shot is sometimes used to establish the setting that the scene will take place in.

Tracking is the movement of a camera beside the subject. The key to a good tracking shot is slow steady movement. Other tracking methods use a wheelchair with the camera person sitting while someone pushes.

Feed back from focus group

After we had finished showing our video we had a focus group to discuss our production; which involved positive and negative feedback. Most people involved said that the sound merged well with the video. However, some people said that it was loud in parts. People also said the camera work was steady and there was no difficulty or irritation whilst watching the video and the shots used within the video were interesting and were used correctly.
The final comments used were that the editing made the film more interesting and looked attractive.
Our only improvements where that the video should have been longer, having more sound and more dialogue

Last comments were based on the editing skills. People said that the editing made the film more interesting and looked attractive. Nevertheless people told us how to improve, and some of the points they made was to try and make the film a bit longer and for the actors to speak clearer in the video. Overall the video was described to be good.
The criticism given is really going to aid our final production because, as part of a company, I believe if we listen and take on board the criticism then we can create a believable introduction to a film.

Editing the Clip

I am starting to reach the end of the editing process on Adobe Premiere Pro. I have cut clips, added transitions between them, changed the speed of the clips, samuel shall add non-diegetic sound to the video, changed the volume of clips and Darya shall add titles to bring our clip to a close.

The Filming & Editing

Today we finished our filming, we used two actors which we hosted auditions for, and chose the perfect two for the roles. Upon filming we had no troubles, the actors were reliable, on time and followed instructions clearly and with no hassle, the whole recording process as a whole suffered no issues at all, everything went as smooth as planned with not interruptions. We also began our editing, adding our company logo, transitions, some animatiion for the intro aswell as some non-diagetic music.

The movie "Friday" in some cases is similar to our production because it involves to friends who are bored at home and start to cause trouble. In such movies there always a clever one who is influenced but the trouble maker and in this movie this shown as "smokey" gets trouble with a drug dealer, and as "smokey" gets "Craig" involved with the drugs "Craig" is put in a situation he had no clue about. In our production "Ernie" is the "smokey" of our clip and "Bert" is the "Craig". "Ernie" is a very lively character who tends to laugh at his jokes, "Bert" on the other hand keep very enclosed and is the brains of the two freinds.
